As part of the integration of women in the Israel Defense Forces, the position of a combat Hummer operator is available for women only. As part of their service, the operators teach and train soldiers to use the different systems on the Hummer, driving on various surfaces and landscapes and simulating 'combat field' scenarios.
The position is very demanding: the operators take part and participate in the battalion and brigade exercises just like any soldier.
However, as mentioned in the video, the operators understand the value and significance of their service and at the end of the day, are left happy and satisfied.
